SURVEY RESULTS – CHANGE IN ASIA – 2013
When I first moved to Asia in 2011 I noted that a key driver in sustaining growth was effective leadership, and in Asia’s context, this was more complex than it seemed and it was also significantly different to that of the West, with characteristics and challenges that were unique.
Part of a leaders responsibilities is to lead change and transformation so I wanted to understand the different cultural dynamics that impacted practising change & transformation in the Region.
SURVEY RESULTS – THE CULTURAL DYNAMICS THAT IMPACT CHANGE AND TRANSFORMATION IN ASIA – 2020
This survey was a follow-up to my 2013 survey because I thought it would be interesting to see if things had actually changed over time.
For this survey I removed, added and/or refined some of the original dynamics based on the knowledge I gained since the 2013 survey and to reflect further ad-hoc research undertaken on the subject. The dynamics used in this survey were mapped against the original 2013 dynamics to help with comparison where there was a direct correlation:
SURVEY RESULTS – THE CASE FOR ESTABLISHING A PROFESSIONAL CHANGE AND TRANSFORMATION BODY IN ASIA
This paper was the result of two previous surveys conducted to ascertain whether there was an interest in establishing a professional change and transformation body specifically for the Asia Region.
It was clear from results from the results of the previous surveys that there was a definitive mandate to pursue this initiative and this paper provides the rationale on which this decision was made.
SURVEY RESULTS – CHANGE MANAGEMENT PRE-REQUISITES
This survey resulted from an article on LinkedIn called “Change Management – is there a need for Industry Sector/Technology Application experience?”
The survey was conducted to elicit the views of the need for Change Managers to have (1) Industry Sector experience and/or (2) Technology Application experience. And also the necessity for (1) Methodology Knowledge (2) Certification and (3) a Degree Qualification

The purpose of the survey was to get a view, from the Change Management community about which aspect of Change Management they enjoyed doing the most and which aspect you enjoy doing the least?
